Careful don't forget to add an initial state to your StateMachine

It's not specified there, but to test Idle/Run you need to put an initial state to your StateMachine otherwise you go an error on _state_name
  • Ah I see why that was. If you rename the Move node to Idle and you have already set it as the StateMachine's starting state, Godot will automatically update the node path.
