Is this the same way I should update the project files? An update was just released, so I just deleted the old project files, downloaded the new ones, and imported them using this procedure... Not sure if that's the way to do it.

Yes, that's correct. You can optionally rename the previous folder before replacing it with the new one, just to keep an archive of your code. But it's not strictly necessary as your progress is tracked separately and preserved when you update.
